Language Activator – Point

اغلب دیکشنری ها لغاتی را مترادف یک لغت معرفی میکنند. اما آیا تمامی مترادفهای یک لغت صد در صد معنای همان لغت را القا میکنند؟ مسلماً خیر. در این بخش از لغات هم معنی و یا نزدیک به لغت Point را بررسی خواهیم کرد.

point out

(transitive phrasal verb)

to show someone a person or thing, especially one that they are interested to know about, by pointing: point out somebody/something

.John pointed out the building where he worked

.She wanted to know which was my house, so I pointed it out to her as we drove past
