Last year, I went to Salado, a small village in Texas under Bell County. This was a charming place indeed to visit and pass some leisurely moments with family and friends. I enjoyed the day-long trip in Salado and participated in many attractive activities which made the day unforgettable. This is an elegant candidate task card topic for me and here is the detail description of the day

I went with Tom and Bill, two of my intimate friends. We have been born and brought up in the same area in Texas and also study in the same college. In fact, we made a plan to visit a countryside in the state and accordingly picked this tiny village to spend a day. So, on the planned day, we started the journey and reached there within a short time. It was an exciting event for all of us as it was the very first journey out of the city together

We did lots of things. Fishing on the Salado Creek was the most entertaining activity there. Roasting the fishes, taking lunch under the open sky, strolling on the village streets and enjoying the calm nature was the key activities there. We also took breakfast at one of the local restaurants, Stagecoach Inn, with the traditional menu. Swimming on the lake was another notable event there

The visit was enjoyable for many reasons. It was a relief for us from the monotonous life of the city. We became exhausted on the daily routine of college and home, completing the assignments and more. So, an exciting break from the urban life was needed to recharge ourselves. Accordingly, after making the plan, we materialized it. And felt refreshed when returned in the city. The memories of the trip will last longer
