Shall – Modal Verb
BAD: The next meeting shall take place in Vienna
GOOD: The next meeting will take place in Vienna
For future reference, use will with the second and third person: ‘I’m confident you will not be disappointed.’ ‘If we don’t hurry, the match will have started.’ Use will/shall with the first person (I/we ): ‘This time next week I will/shall be in Florence.’ ‘I’m sure we will/shall be seeing each other again
