Plurals

Count nouns are either singular or plural. A singular noun refers to one thing. A plural noun refers to more than one thing

:Most nouns form the plural by adding -s

year : years
product : products
price : prices

:Nouns that end in -s, -z, -ch, and -sh form the plural by adding -es

watch : watches
crash : crashes

:Nouns that end in a consonant+ y have a spelling change-change they to ie, then add -s

dictionary : dictionaries
